Barlo docs

Everything a roller needs: how the three modes work, the tracks and their par times, how results are kept, what the run book contract does and what is still only planned.
The arena is open. All 3 modes are playable at Play with no wallet. The run book is live on Robinhood Chain; see the roadmap.

What works today

Barlo is in early preview: single player, in your browser. Rows marked Live work right now. Practice means the screen works the same but posts stay in your browser until the run book contract is deployed. Planned items do not exist yet.

First run

  1. Open Play and pick a mode. No wallet, no sign-up.
  2. Press Start. A three-count runs, then the clock starts.
  3. When the run ends you see your time or score, your best on that board and any achievement you earned.
  4. Optional: connect a wallet and press Post to send the result to the run book.
  5. Change your barrel any time in the garage; your profile keeps the rest.

Controls and the barrel

Arrow keys or WASD push the barrel. On a phone, press anywhere on the game and drag: the further you drag from where you pressed, the harder you push. P or Escape pauses, R restarts.

The barrel keeps its momentum. Pushing adds speed up to a cap, and the floor slows you down when you let go. To turn sharply, ease off and push sideways early. Walls bounce you back with a bit less speed than you hit them with; bumpers throw you harder than you hit them.

The game runs its physics at a fixed 120 steps a second, the same on every device, so a run depends on your hands and not on your screen.

Roll Rush

Race through every gate in order to the checkered line. Holes send you back to the last gate you passed and add 1.5 seconds. Yellow pads push you forward, dark slick patches cut your grip, logs roll across the lane on a timer. The clock stops at five minutes.

Tracks open in order: finish a track to unlock the next.

#TrackParWhat to expect
1First Roll10.00 sA gentle S-bend with a few cones and one boost pad. Learn how the barrel carries its speed.
2Bumper Alley18.00 sZigzags lined with springy bumpers. Clip one and it throws you across the lane.
3Roller Ridge24.00 sLogs roll across the lane on a timer and holes wait at the edges. Time your gaps.
4Slick Square21.00 sOil patches steal your grip on a tight square spiral. Steer early, brake by turning.

Bumper Ring

Stay on the round ring. Bot barrels chase you with a little lead and only half mind the edge, which is how you bump them off. When the ring is clear a new wave arrives with one more bot (up to six), and an extra bot joins every 20 seconds regardless.

Score: one point per tenth of a second on the ring, plus 150 per bot that falls while you are still on. The run ends when you leave the ring.

Obstacle Spiral

The arena turns, slowly at first and faster every second, and its floor carries you around. Two red and white spokes sweep across, four bumpers ride on the floor and four holes turn with it.

Score: one point per tenth of a second on the floor, plus 50 per spark. Sparks reappear somewhere new after you take one. Falling off the edge or into a hole ends the run.

Results and bests

Roll Rush records your finish time in milliseconds, penalties included; lower wins. The arenas record a score; higher wins. Your profile keeps the best per track and your last 60 runs.

The run book accepts Roll Rush times from 3 seconds to 30 minutes and arena scores from 1 to 1,000,000.

Garage

Pick wood or paint, hoops, a pattern, a sticker, a face, an accessory, a rolling trail and a picture background. In the game you see the barrel from above, so colours, hoops, sticker and trail show there; face and accessory show on your picture.

Save PNG or WebP exports a 1040 × 1040 pixel picture made in your browser. Copy share link gives a link that opens your look in someone else's garage. Looks never change how a barrel rolls.

Profile and achievements

Your name, bests, history and achievements are kept in this browser only (clearing site data removes them). Export them as JSON from the profile page.

The run book contract

BarloRollBook on Robinhood Chain: 0x01ecd83b0cc631f1a682aea0b4462173d3dca74b

  • postRun(mode, track, value): mode 1 Roll Rush (time in ms), 2 Bumper Ring, 3 Obstacle Spiral (score). Track 1 to 32.
  • The book keeps your best per track twice: all time, and for the current weekly cup. A post that beats neither is refused.
  • Reads: players, playerCount, bestOf, profile, currentCup, totalRuns, playerTotal.
  • Event RunPosted(player, mode, track, value, cup, allTimeBest, cupBest, chainBlock) for every accepted post.
  • No owner, no admin, no fee, no pause, no upgrade. It never holds funds: nothing is payable.

Self-reported. The contract cannot see your game, so it records what your wallet posts. A result on the board proves who posted it and when, not that it was played.

Weekly cups

Cup 1 began on Monday 29 December 2025 at 00:00 UTC; a new cup starts every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Every track and arena has a board per cup. Each week one Roll Rush track is the headline, rotating through the list.

There is no entry fee, no wager and no prize. The only cost is the gas for posting.

Wallets and network

Robinhood Chain, chain id 4663, gas paid in ETH. Connect lists the wallets found in your browser, WalletConnect when the site has it set up, and links to install or open a wallet app. Connecting adds Robinhood Chain to your wallet if it is missing. Phantom cannot add custom networks, so it shows as not supported.

Connecting only shares your address. Posting opens your wallet with a transaction for you to check and sign; the site never holds a key.

$BARLO

$BARLO is the project's community token on Robinhood Chain. It launches on Pons; the address appears on the token page first. The game needs no token.

Planned uses, only if they are really built: cosmetic credits, access to community events and creative features. None of this exists today. $BARLO carries no promised value, no reward and no claim on anything.

FAQ

What is Barlo?

Barlo is a barrel-rolling skill game you play in the browser, with a small run book contract on Robinhood Chain where players can post their best results.

How does Barlo work?

You steer a barrel that keeps its momentum through three modes. Each run ends with a time or a score, saved in your browser; with a wallet you can post it to the run book, which keeps your best per track for all time and per week.

How do I buy $BARLO?

$BARLO has not launched yet. It will launch on Pons; the address appears on the token page and on @barlo first.

Which network is Barlo on?

Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). Your wallet adds it when you connect.

What are the risks?

The run book has no owner and holds no funds, but posts cost gas and results are self-reported. $BARLO is a community token with no promised value; its price can fall to zero.
